La lettre de motivation est le meilleur moyen de convaincre un recruteur que vous êtes fait pour le poste auquel vous postulez. Elle permet de mettre en valeur votre personnalité et votre motivation réelle. Une lettre bâclée, impersonnelle aura vite fait de prouver que vous porter peu d'intérêt à un poste, puisque vous passer peu de temps à la rédiger. Une lettre de motivation pertinent sera un atout de plus pour votre candidature.

C'est la raison pour laquelle il ne faut pas hésiter à passer du temps sur sa lettre de motivation. La relire, la personnaliser, la retravailler. Le principal défaut des lettre de motivation est que les candidats leur accordent trop peu de temps, les rédigent en quelques minutes pensant que le CV est seul élément clé d'une candidature. C'est faux. Encore une fois, la lettre de motivation ne se limite pas à présenter rapidement, c'est un moyen de parler de vous, de vos projets, de votre envie de travailler pour une entreprise. L'objectif finale de cette lettre est de convaincre votre interlocuteur de votre réelle motivation et de décrocher un entretien.
